Frank Galvez trained in Cuba with the best ballet masters of his time, among others, Anna Leontieva, Jose Parez, and Ceferino Barrios. His professional debut was in 1968 with the Ballet of Teatro Lirico of La Havana, I.C.R Ballet, and then became the principal dancer of the worldwide famous show "Tropicana". Frank is celebrating over 43 years of professional dance career. After leaving his country in 1975, he began his international guest appearances performing around the world, visiting over 40 countries in 3 continents. In 1980 Galvez accepted an invitation from the legendary Rudolf Nureyev to perform the role of "Von Rothbart" in Nureyev's Swan Lake, touring 6 countries in 30 appearances. Frank Galvez's repertoire includes roles in classical ballets Coppelia, Swan Lake, La Fille Mal Gardee, La Vivandiere, Don Quixote, Le Corsaire, Diane and Acteon, The Flame of Paris, The Nutcracker, Les Sylphides, Raymonda, and La Bayadere, as well as contemporary pieces from choreographers Morales, Lastra, Cuellar, Nebrada, Bejart, Petit, and Alonso. Frank Galvez has been Ballet Master for Ballet Teresa Carreno Theater, Maracaibo Ballet, Chamber Ballet of Zulia, National Ballet of Spain, Dance Theater West, Nevada Dance Theater, Ballet Concerto Company of Miami, and Ballet du Montpelier. He has choreographed over 200 ballet pieces currently in the repertoire of ballet companies in South America, Europe and United States of America. Among his numerous choreographic works are Three Loves, Forbidden Dreams, Coppelius Fantasy, and Encounter, and the re-staging of original works such as The Good-humored Ladies, Cappriccio Espagnol, and The Polovtsian Dances. He has been Artistic Director and Resident Choreographer for The New Company in Venezuela, Dance Theater West in Nevada, Ballet Nova in Florida, and Lexington Ballet in Kentucky. Frank Galvez has been privileged to work with the finest. He is known for his commitment to excellence developed during years of experience, and for his emphasis on technique and energetic teaching style.

Originally from Venezuela, Mrs. Montero began her ballet studies under the direction of Matilde Romo de Pierrefeu, at the school of ballet of Bellas Artes Theater, and graduated at the age of 15. Her repertory includes principal roles in classical ballets Don Quixote, Raymonda, Le Corsaire, Swan Lake, Les Sylphides, The Nutcracker, Giselle, as well as roles in neo-classical and contemporary pieces. Lucia has performed in Venezuela with Ballet of Zulia, Maracaibo Ballet, The New Company, and in United States of America with Ballet Concerto of Miami, Momemtum Dance Company, Dance Theater West, and Ballet Nova. Her versatility has allowed her to perform for two consecutive years in Las Vegas Review show Spellbound, and in musical productions A Chorus Line, and West Side Story. She has also participated in numerous festivals, and was recognized with the ACCA Award 1990 as Soloist Dancer of the Year for her performance of Adela in The House of Bernarda Alba. Lucia has been Ballet Mistress for Dance Theater West, Ballet Nova, and Resident Choreographer-Director for Jean Ann Ryan productions in Florida. From 1998 to 2003, she was School Director and Assistant Artistic Director for the Lexington Ballet. Her students have been accepted and awarded scholarships to major ballet summer programs, and to Dance colleges upon graduation. She is regularly invited to teach at summer programs throughout the country. Lucia Montero is known as teacher and coach with an extensive knowledge of the classical ballet and contemporary techniques. Lucia brings her energy and expertise to every aspect of her involvement with the dancers.
